TITLE:
Conventional Pattern/Model Makers – Collinsville, IL

• Description: Advanced Pattern Works seeks Pattern & Model Makers to join our team.
• Education: On-The-Job Training provided by the employer, a High School Diploma with specific Vocational Education Classes, an Associate Degree, or an Apprenticeship.

Qualifications: 

• Study blueprints or drawings of the part to be made
• Rate information using measurable standards
• Understand shop math
• Work skillfully with tools
• Use reason and logic
• Work within precise limits of standards of accuracy
• Visualize flat drawings or picture as solid objects
• Plan the steps required to do the work

TITLE:
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmers/Solid Modelers – Collinsville, IL

• Description: Advanced Pattern Works is looking to recruit CNC Programmers/Solid Modelers.
• Education: Certificate (program of up to one year of study beyond High School) or an Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree

Qualifications:

• CNC Lathe programming
• CNC Mill programming
• Tool design
• Create set up sheets
• Filing and organizing Tooling documents
• Develop and improve machine processes and write process data sheets
• Must be able to use all standard inspection tools
• Work with a variety of materials, tooling and machine operations
• Inspect first-run and in-process parts using precision measuring equipment
