Plastic Snowman

This snowman mold was created for a customer who was initiating a new product launch of plastic snowman to be used as holiday decorations. The client approached APW with nothing more than some ideas and a plastic example.

Using a composite clay method, APW first created a design model based on the client's design implications. This model was then used to construct a two-part wooden mold that allowed the customer to quickly increase production of his snowman statues.
