For over 20 years, Advanced Pattern Works has been providing CNC Machining services to customers throughout North America.

Independently owned and operated, our staff of versatile designers, pattern/model makers and support personnel is committed to providing the most dependable quality service in the industry. A successful team of highly skilled, long-term employees and a willingness to invest in the most up-to-date equipment have helped us achieve the perfect balance between leading-edge technology and old-fashioned personal service. We believe every project is like a partnership, and that is our formula for success.

Facility & Equipment

Our 12,000 square foot facility, located in Southern Illinois, just 10 miles east of St. Louis, Missouri, is equipped with the latest in machinery and equipment. In addition to our collection of conventional pattern, mold, and model making equipment, we have the most up-to-date computer modeling software, and the latest in CNC machining equipment. From our large 3′ x 5′ x 10′ Five-Axis CNC to our even larger capacity 8′ x 16′ x 4′ Five-Axis CNC we are prepared and ready to take on any CNC machining challenge.

Major Customers

Our client list includes several large companies who are known for their commitment to quality and technology such as The Boeing Company, Weir Minerals • Lewis Pumps, and Metaltek Industries, as well as not-for-profit and international companies like The University of Michigan and Kubota Metals. However, many of our customers include small to medium-sized companies requiring specific custom work, and even individuals looking for assistance with prototypes and new ideas. The variety of customers we serve demonstrates our ability to provide customized, personal service to meet just about any need.

Personnel

Our staff of journeyman-level patternmakers and programmers is a dedicated team of professionals with the experience necessary to get any job done on time and on budget. At APW, there are no sales or marketing people and no automated phone system. Our customers work directly with the individuals who are responsible for their job. The owner works on the floor, in the shop, and in the office to ensure the highest level of quality and workmanship.
